I am deeply disappointed in the unprofessional service I received at Standard Bank lately. Firstly I noticed that a transfer was made from my cheque account which I have no knowledge of.
So I phoned the call centre in the morning, spoke to a consultant who told me this was done by their collections dept for my credit card and he transferred me to that department.
At the collection dept, I spoke to a lady who kept repeating that they will not refund it back to me, I understand that! she cannot answer why it happened in the first place and just transfers me to another consultant without even telling me why Im on hold. I have an arrangement in place with a collection agency and I've been making payments so why just debit my account in the middle of the month?
When I asked the agent how to stop this going forward, Im told I can't so basically you're telling me to close my account. I know what I can afford because I'm currently on unpaid maternity leave and it takes something like this to take food away from my table for that month. What an insensitive bunch!!!
