Deceitful business practice

I got a call from Blue Mercury, a subsidiary of Discovery insure offering me insurance. I agreed based on the option that I could cancel the insurance if I am not happy with it, at anytime. I did not sign the contract that was sent to me and later sent an email cancelling the insurance. I have spoken to four consultants to tell them about the cancellation and demanding a refund of the money they have deducted from my account after cancellation. They have already deducted 4 payments after I have cancelled and they keep saying they will get back to me and never do.
