Standard Bank
SIBLINGS LEFT WITHOUT A SAFE HOME

My husband passed away 2011 leaving behind a standard bank bond, not even a single day i have not paid the bond but now my house was damaged in the hail storm that occured in gauteng, standard bank has been stalling and the house has not been fixed. The roof is just opened which leave my kids not safe. The cupboards are damaged and the house is leaking. They have appointed a contractor but to my surprise nothing has happend im am still under the stressful situation of leaving goods in a house which is not safe and they might be cause of standards bank negligence who is failing to handle my claim well. Even now i paid my bond including the insurance for the past month but all they care about is that they receive their money not worrying about those who are staying in an unsafe house which is insured with them. I am fed up, im sure my husband is turning in his grave seeing how his asset is taken of by the people he trusted to take a bond with. The contractor of which they appointed has confirmed that the damages amount around -R50000 now standard bank sends me a letter with a payment of R 45450.58, who should settle the rest cause this wont cover the building plus its fittings
