I have called the call centre twice and they have advised me that my credit limit was reduced from R10 000 to R5000 due to a low credit scoring.
When I applied online, Virgin Money offered me R10 000 (clearly they should have known what my credit scoring was at the time). I have been paying over and above what I should be paying onto the credit card. I transferred R5000 into the credit card a week ago and now I have no access to that money whatsoever. Without any warning from Virgin Money - my limit was reduced. I am faced with a difficult situation whereby R5000 was paid to Virgin Money in order for me to have access it to it when needed. Now I have a limit of R5000 of which is still due to Virgin Money, with no credit available. Clearly the procedure Virgin Money offers credit cards are not in good faith. If they say my credit scoring is bad then why did they give me a credit card with a limit of R10 000 in the first place.
This service and brand is shocking.
