No feedback received on claim after a month

I claimed my leaking roof on 21 November 2013. Claim number is FHF 13110390584.After a few days the assessor came. He said there is no claim due to my roof ridging has no waterproofing. After about 2 weeks I contacted Standard bank and they received no feedback from assessor. I still today have had no feedback from Standard bank after they said the claim is at the manager pending his decision. It was said to me by the phone operator I need to maintenance on my roof. I feel that Standard bank had someone there the day I took out the insurance policy and they had no issues. I am not a builder, thus don't know all the specs for roofing. Another issue is a previous roof repairer, also a claim, did put waterproofing on some part of the roof ridging, but leaks when it rains. I am very dissatisfied with this delay in response. I am getting damage to my ceilings and walls in the mean time while I wait
