Why not to switch to FNB!

As a customer with numerous accounts at many banks I decided to switch all of my accounts to FNB since they've had this 'good' advertising campaign. O boy! What a huge mistake! I regret even trying and wasting my time.

I tried to open an 'Easy Account' to start off with as advertised online. The banker didn't even know what I spoke about! She never even heard that such an account exists! She simply shrugged her shoulders. I couldn't open this account and ended up leaving the branch not as a customer.

This total incompetency will hinder me forever and I will never return to this bank. More importantly; I've informed friends and family about this false advertising and will discourage anyone from ever trying to be an FNB customer.

What angers me the most is the lack of honesty online and the advertising! Why spends thousands of rands advertising something that isn't so?

Further false advertising includes;
- 'Switching your account for free with 3 months free-billing, ' which is total false advertising. You have to have a business account for this. But this is only in the fine print.

I wish anyone luck who is and FNB customer!
Suddenly my old bank is much better!
