I received several SMSs from African Bank notifying me that they, of their own accord had opted to debit my account on the 13th of December rather than the usual 25 December. I called them to notify them that I do not get paid on 13 December and that they should NOT debit my account on 13 December. They promised that they wouldn't. What did they do? Ignored my request and debited my account on 13 December.
I have to admit that I have generally received very good service from them and am an excellent customer, never defaulting on my payments. I really don't appreciate this latest behaviour though. Essentially African Bank has not only broken it's promise to me, but breached several contractual agreements. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in you African Bank!
