DEBITED WITHOUT MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT

I got a message from African bank on the 05th December 2013 which reads as follows" Due to salary pay date changes in December 2013, Your African bank payments will be debited on 13 December 2013. Call 011 207 4500 for queries.

I did call them and asked the who told them that i will get paid on the 13th? i also asked them that my contract says last day of the month not on the 13th. i was told that most people will get paid on the 13th which i told them i am not "most people" i know my pay date. I then received an sms which says my account has been updated my debit date will be 20131231. I was still not happy with the message since my debit date has always been the last of the month, i then called them to say they mustn't say my account has been updated instead they must apologize which they didnt.

Today i got a notify me from my bank saying a debit has gone through. Since i use a cheque it showed negative amount debited. that means my account is on negative which doesnt reflect good to my bank. They will charge me bank fees and this African Bank wont pay me that.

This bank doesnt trust their clients. I demand a refund and apology.
