I have been a client of Standard Bank for more than 20 years. I know so many people who want to leave standard bank, and I always say, give them another chance, well not any more. I have had a RCL for over 4 years. I have a perfect credit record, and have never once missed a payment to anyone. I phoned to up my limit to R80000, and was declined over the phone, then told that this does not make sense, and that I will receive an e-mail, and to send my pay slip back to that e-mail address. Still waiting for the mail. But a friend of mine that has almost no income, gets R70000 in half an hour. Guess with STD Bank, If you're a bad customer, that does not have any money, they like you. I know I have almost more than that in my account, but I don't want to spend all my money in my account, like to have a reserve for the unforeseen, that's why the loan has always worked for me. You know what, FNB, here I come.
