I opened a credit card account with FNB and received the card after FNB informed me via sms and e-mail that everything was in order and that the card was ready for collection. I registered everything on their internet banking site where it showed that they deducted R247 for activation of the credit card.
A day later I tried to use the card where it was declined due to insufficient funds. At the branch they informed me that FNB blocked the card because they still needed to verify employment and salary, all this after I was informed that everything was in order and received and activated the card showing the limit.
No one got back to within the times set by them to resolve the issue.
