Cheque book cover - Prestige account

Having been one of the first Prestige account holders with Standard Bank (the premium cheque account at the time), I find that after more than fifteen years no one at Standard Bank has ever called me to discuss my account or establish whether I qualify for whatever it is that has taken it;s place. This is not so much a concern, but what is of concern is that at the time I was given a leather wallet and leather cheque book holder as I was considered a V.I.P. Recently I went into the local branch to collect a new cheque book as mine was full. When the new cheque book was handed over, I was horrified to see that it no longer resembled the cheque book I was used to using for the past fifteen years, but rather like the first cheque book I got from Standard bank some forty years ago. On asking how I was going to fit this cheque book into my maroon leather cheque book holder, I was even more horrified when the assistant handed me the cheapest plastic junk cheque book holder I have ever seen. Has the status of Prestige account holders dropped so low that now we are lumbered with the ordinary unimportant customers
