Personalised Systems has been deducting money R99.99 and R129.99 from my ABSA cheque account since February 2013. the last straw was when they tried their luck on the 25 November 2013 for the amount of R399.00.ABSA never gave me a courtesy call to enquire if I know about this Personalised Systems and Services right from the beginning.
I received a letter from ABSA on the 04/11/2013 dated 27/11/2013 that there was a dishonoured cheque for 25/11/2013.my hard earned cash disappears from my account while I (and million other ABSA clients) are swindled out of our hard earned cash like this. I mean a big bank like ABSA should have risk engines to detect of this nature? the same company using one account and different names to de- clients and nobody sees a thing? when I called ABSA this morning I was given a code and the telephone number for FNB as this is their client (0861100141, which does not work, then tel 0875750000, then 0113691400) of the same company, after being taken from pillar to post the last number belonged to a private residence (012) 6635662. it seems there are a lot of us who fell victim to this . banks should use stringent measures to safeguard
