Essential Med
BAD SERVICE, NOT PAYING CLAIMS, EMPTY PROMISES

Where do I start? I was admitted in Aug 2013 into hospital due to "premature labour" booked in 12 aug 00:06, released the following day 13 aug 2013 09:00, I was due to give birth the following month in Sept 2013, because of the aug claim, my day1 was revoked for the birth, Elize organised a top-up for the birth, then they turn around and say I was committed less than 24 hrs... yes, basic maths was the problem here, I was declined for this claim, to make things even "better", I made sure all accounts that will be part of the birth, will be covered under this "top-up" with a smiling yes reply and I made sure this includes ANY dr of ANY kind, "yes ma'am". With the problems coming from Aug, I was told the top up was revoked (after I signed) how fabulous, they paid R11000 of my birth, so another odd R25 000 was still outstanding, including dr accounts, blood tests and so on. I actually got to the point, where I took this to the ombud cause this was NOT agreed upon (in writing I must add) most accounts "have been paid" tho they refuse to give me proof so that I can submit it, and get this, underwriting says that the Dr who did the c-section is not a related account and will not be settled
