I had one policy with Sanlam with premium of R250pm. On 01/01/2013 sanlam tried to debit my account for R750 but the debit order was rejected. On the same day I checked my post and found new documents from sanlam with a different policy number and a premium of R500pm. Somebody used all my details as they were on the previous policy, applied for another policy and forged my signature. I have complained to the company representative but the matter is still not resolve as they debited my account again today for R1500. I have sent an e-mail to customer services but their system is not customer friendly. I wa saked to register my e-mail address, which I did but they say my password is wrong. I have been greatly inconvinienced by this situation and I obviously want my money refunded asap. I am also not happy with the fact that my personal details which I provided sanlam with are available to anyone to use.
