My account was compromised (hacked on monday and tuseday) while i was sleep. someone withdrew all the money from my account. The problem that i have is that i went and explain the situation to ABSA and have told them that i have debits that needs to go off from yesterday and today and they told me that they cannot help and i have also try to apply for an overdraft so that i can pay off the debits which was also turn down. first off all i am not responsible for what happen and i don't do security for ABSA. Surely the must be away for ABSA to help its clients while they are busy with the investigation. i don't see why i have to suffer as a result of this. and i was forced to apply for loan which i will have to pay for the interest (this is totally unacceptable especialy for a brand like ABSA). Is this the way ABSA treat its clients. i used to think that ABSA is the most reliable and best bank in south Africa. this is bad.
