Very unhappy and DISGRUNTLED

In July last year we applied for a homeloan with FNB.We were informed we qualified for a loan of 1.6M.We informed the bank that we are buying the house for 1.4 and that we want the extra 200K for renovations on the property. It was accepted and confirmed by the bank. But the instruction to the lawyer from the bank was only for 1.4.We realised it only after the registration went through. We applied for the 200K as a 2nd bond, but the bank now told us that we don't qualify! We approached SA HOMELOANS to move our bond to them. They informed us they cannot give us the loan because our credit rating is too low now because FNB made 9 credit checks on us for the homeloan!!! 9 credit checks for ONE homeloan??? And now my credit rating is ruined!!! We contacted the homeloan dept but they say we need to go to their customer care. Customer care say we need to sort it out with the person who handled our loan.!! We STILL intend to take our homeloan away from FNB. This has been very POOR after sales treatment from FNB.
