ONLINE Banking registration does not work

My Dad is very ill, and currently bed ridden, and hence asked me to create an online banking profile for him, to make it easier to transact from his sick bed.

Via internet it all went fine, but said that it must be activated at an ATM. I did so for him today, at two separate ATM's in different locations, but after following all the correct steps, it returned a receipt saying that it is inactive and to call the call centre for support.

When we called just now, they could not pick up why it is still inactive, spoke to Mpho (around 15:05) and said we must go into a branch. What is the point of making things simpler via cellphone and online banking, when you still have to go into a branch!

My Dad can't even walk on his own, or sit up, so how is he supposed to activate it at a branch?!?!? There is always a problem when it comes to FNB, nothing is ever straight forward.
