I am supposed to be a Standard Bank prestige client at The Glen branch but have never been introduced to or contacted by my prestige banker. I have had my newly issued credit card returned twice to Card Division because I was not notified by the branch that it is available for collection. In both cases a promise was made that a prestige banker will contact me. So I pay prestige fees but don't get the corresponding service. Not only is the idea of prestige banking a joke but Standard Bank has just stopped being a good bank.
