Geyser replaced and collapses 6 weeks late

Geyser was replaced by ABSA Insuarance using their own contractors by the name of Panorama Plumbers on 20/09/2013. Six weeks later on 05/11/2013 the geyser collapses and damaged sink and kitchen cabinet with the fall. I called Panorama Plumbers to come sort out the damage. Their Isuarance which is also ABSA would by the plumber pay for the damages. ABSA declined on 19/11/2013. 2 weeks later. I called ABSA insuarance to sort out their Plumber which they send to replace the geyser. Spoke to Morele. On 20/11/2013 i received a report via email that ABSA will not repair the damage as their plumber was not at fault in any way. This geyser was switched on to test on 20/09/2013 and switched off the same day and never been used since. How can I be held responsible if their plumber did not do a thorough job and the geyser pulled out of the wall after 6 weeks without using it. This was my 2nd claim in 14 years. Is this how we should be treated? Please assist urgently
