I have cancelled my policies more than 2 months ago. But there was 1 policy that was still being deducted. I changed my bank account details and when they attempted to deduct there was no money in my account which led to bank charges. I now have to mail my bank statement again, which was sent on the 13 November i might add and I have to motivate why they should be paying back the bank charges of R138.00 even though Old Mutual should not have been deducting in the first place.
Nobody and i mean NOBODY has ever contacted me advising me of progress with my request it was always myself phoning them to get updates on it. And only then i would find out i would have to send a bank statement or i have to RESEND a bank statement.
I can see customer service is a very high priority at Old Mutual, actually dont regret cancelling all my policies
