My problem's not Colin Wood but PPS underwriters, Insurance & Invest I've endeavoured for -four years to increase my Life Insurance Policy by R140000 to R1, 000000. In Nov 2004 I had breast cancer. 95% curable, oestrogen receptive, slow growing. Had radiation no chemo, not necessary. I've been clear for 9 years. Prof Koller told me in his opinion I am cured. I also fiund out from Colin a short while ago my insurance expires at 65 yrs. Never pointed out to me when I took it out 19 years ago with Alan Lewthwaite. My personal opinion - he wanted highest commission & so didn't tell me. I've been consulting Colin Wood for about - 4years now to increase my Policy. He felt positive that in my present condition, I would get the increase -kept saying this every year. He also said I must change the Policy so it would pay out irrespective of age at death. Turns PPS made me a counter offer, they will increase my Policy to R1m, but cancer is excluded and it will pay out at date of death irrespective of age 65. When I started with PPS, I took out an RA - I got out what I put in - no growth. I've been paying about R228000 for disability & insurance over last 19 yrs!
