My vehicle had received hail damage on the 21/10/2012. After i had my Vehicle assessed Evelyn Van Der Westhuizen of Outsurance contacted me and said i would have to wait till the 26/11/2012 to take my Vehicle to Trade Panel beaters in Edenvale. After asking her if i could have it repaired at another Approved Panel beater who is closer to where i stay and could take on the work sooner? she refused completely and said it has to go to Trade Panel beaters while i have an approved Panel beater within a kilometre of my house and who was not busy at all. I eventually gave in after not wanting to argue with her and let her speak down to me.
I also found it interesting that 4 Friends of mine who also received hail damage on the same date have also been sent to Trade panel beaters this it NOT a coincidence!!!
My Vehicle has been with Trade panel beaters from the 26/11/2012 to date and i still do not have my car! After trying to get Evelyn to help she flatly said that, "its not Outsurances fault" Bending over backwards??? i think not. I have also received terrible service From Trade panel beaters which i do not have enough space to share so will be making another complaint.
