I applied for a loan with EC finance they came back saying declined on affordability. Now all of a sudden a R99.99 debit order taken off my account by sage netcash. How the can you people take a debit order if the application was unsuccessful? The point of taking a loan is because you need money not your last money taken away from you!!! And in any case i went online now to check if there is anything on their term and conditions and this is what it says "I hereby agree that the party hereby authorized to debit my bank account may not cede or assign any of its rights that I may not cede any of our obligations in terms of this debit order instruction to any third party without prior written consent of the authorized party. I also give permission for them to debit my account with a once off Recovery Fee of R 49.99. This will be a once off fee and not a monthly fee. Also note, the fee will go up from 1 March 2013 to R 79.99 per application and agree to the same terms and conditions above. No amount of R99.99 I WANT A REFUND ASAP. My reference number is 81082 and debit ref 09056880. You did not assist me in anyway to take my money from me. No other finance institution does this!!
