In Sept I phoned discovery Insurance for a quote on car insurance. The quote was R200 more than what I am currently paying so I said to the call centre guy that I would think about it and if I wanted to do it I would phone him. I did not phone him. Saturday the 26th of October I get a message to tell me that Discovery Insure has taken R864 off of my account! _ My med aid is through Discovery so they have my banking details! So they just helped themselves to my money WITHOUT my consent! the next week on the 06/11 I phoned and explained my problem to Sean and he apologized and said the money would be returned. I waited a week, and nothing. I phoned back and they apologized and assured me that the money would be returned in the next 48 hours.By the following week I was furious. I phoned on the 19th and spoke to Rakesh who eventually put me through to Jaco who made me believe that I would DEFINITELY have my money back in the next 48 hours if not sooner as Discovery and I are both with FNB and Which brings me to today the 26th of November, Not only has my money NOT been paid back but they have taken ANOTHER R864! THIS IS! I did not give them permission to take my money!!
