I was involved in an accident where the client of SA Underwriter rammed into the rear of my vehicle, forcing me to bump into the car in front of me at a red robot.
I initiated a third party claim as I am not insured due to me being unemployed. I use my vehicle to do courier services on a part time basis to generate some income.
On submitting all the required documents and having the car assessed by SAU asessors, I was told that this is a long process, and that hopefully they will only look into my case in December and will let me know thereafter when my vehicle will be repaired. The attitude of Mr Riaan, was that of ' well we have a backlog of over 120 cases and you have to wait your turn, there is nothing I can do'.
Now really, is he the only that is working at SAU doing this? Can SAU not get more people to assist so that people like us don't have to be burdened unnecessarily? Must I suffer the consequences of their clients negligence? I have no income now due to me not being able to do any work, who is going to support my family? For a large company like SAU I am absolutely disgusted by this don't care attitude and deplorable customer service. Sagren
