A payment for consultancy services to the sum of R30, 000 was made into my ABSA cheque account on 21 May 2013. I have not received this amount according to my records. I followed up my employer; the World Health Organisation Namibia at the time. They paid it into ABSA on 21 May. Meanwhile I closed my account on 13 August, providing enough time for the funds to appear. The last amount credited into my account was in April 2013. I have been following up with ABSA since 16 October to investigate this matter. After many emails, phone calls, sending proof of payment instructions, I am no wiser about this matter. On 20 November I express that I will make a public complaint. Both consultants respond. Mr Thabo Maphoto says proof of payment instruction is inadequate to trace the payment. Using the same evidence from Citibank, Ms van Dam provides me a paste-in of my statement showing that R30, 000 was paid on 24 May 2013. I cross-checked this, against my emailed cheque statement. There is no such payment made to me on 24 May 2013. This is also not reflected in my June cheque statement either. I also checked through my June statement and this amount is not reflected either. Where is it?
