Advertised on Site but no Stock??

I recently applied for smart device / ipad promotion, and I went for the option of Ipad that was apparently available or led to believe you had stock of. But now only to receive a sms that you dont have stock, and with a rather open ended sms of not indicating as to when it will be available??? my question is why the do you advertise you have it, if you have dont have stock? I mean if I knew this was the case I would just go somewhere else.

I was sold on availability, now I have no idea as to when I will receive what I've purchased?
could be 48 hours or 48 days for all I know. Must say rather disappointed to put in mildly.
Oh and not to mention that when you call the call centre no one ever gives you any concrete answers either.
