Future Use Application, like banking in the 80's

So this is rather disappointing after i just complimented Sindi from FNB homeloans on great work.
My recent contact was with FNB future use department. and contrary to what i was told when first applying for my home loan (that the future use funds i applied for then, would be easily available) after my home loan was approved as i was planning renovations. it was not.
I had to fill out the identical forms, and even though i bank with FNB, had to go through all the checks and affordability calculators. which i was told was done once initially and then won't be necessary if I go up to a certain max amount they calculated as me being able to afford. Then in terms of getting feedback from the agent as to where we are in the process, what will still need to happen, and how long things will take after i submitted forms, was like pulling chicken teeth. also i found that when she requested info from me, it was not clear, which resulted in me having to resubmit documents, as her mails generally consisted of 300 characters.
Then i needed to follow up with the consultant as the verification agent didn't call me yet
I was told I've qualified for Rx amount but unexplainable was given 33% less
