Today I needed R120, nothing more, nothing less, just a good old R120. But the FNB ATM flatly refused. It may be a strategy of FNB but it is an irritant and an inconvenience. As much as the world is moving away from physical money, we are not completely there yet. Why is it that we [the customers of FNB] can't decide what amount to withdraw? Why can't we withdraw amounts containing R10 & R20 bills? I cant withdraw R10, R20, R30, R40, R60, R70, R80, R90, R110, R120 etc, the ATM flatly refuses. It's not always that I want R50, R100, R150, R200 etc
WHY FNB? WHY?
Is it too much to ask?
If I just need about R10 or R20 to pay for parking at a mall why can't I get it? Why does the ATM force me to withdraw R50 or R100?
WHY FNB? WHY?
