Trouble selling old mutual shares, incorrect ID

Since I have been trying to sell my shares in September 2013 was told by call centre my ID number don't match one on their system. I drove to computershare Marshall street and spoke to Theodora Molefe at their offices to be send back to Old mutual in PTA for initial shares documents needed. I gave her bank statement, ID copy, proof of SARS and proof of residence as they requested. I called to follow up and nothing was received from Old mutual office and the certified documents that I submitted myself at their offices are not reflecting or captured! I had 300 shares in 1996 and my ID number was correct back then as per documents submitted to computershare! Today I am sent pillar to post after faxing, driving to jhb and numerous trips to old mutual! NOTHING done, worse my shares have reduced to 262 shares and I did not receive that big payout! Is it my problem now that your staff captured my ID incorrect between 1996 and 2013?? PLEASE HELP!
