Online banking profiles lack security

I bank with Nedbank. I recently acquired an FNB credit card and registered for online banking. FNB's online banking profiles work like a normal e-mail account - a profile name and one security password. I hardly believe that what is not even secure when it comes to an email account is also secure for online banking... Should you wish to transact FNB only forwards an OTP. Nedbank has an online profile name, pin number and security code. When transacting they use an interactive system and only when this fails, do you use an OTP system.
Also, I wanted to make a phone call to say the above, but was informed that I could only write an email - FNB does not facilitate complaints or suggestions over the phone. I, as the client could not chose when I wanted to speak to FNB, they would decide when to call me after receiving my email - as usual at an inconvenient time in the middle of a meeting. How is this treating customers fairly?
