On 10 Oct 2013 I was charged R220 on my Discovery Card for being over the limit.
My credit limit: R2, 050. On 10 Oct my Balance was: R2, 113.94. Thus I was over the limit with R63.94. Got charged a #OVERLIMIT FEE of: R220.00!! That is a 344% fee!!
Why are we being ripped of like this? There was a time not that long ago when R220 was not a big deal at all and I would just let it go but lately I've been having huge financial difficulties. So much so that I do not even go over 80km/h on the highway and I only drive between home and work, just to save on petrol.
Really Discovery/Firstrand this is totally unreasonable and excessive.
