I would like to commend the employee above who paid careful attention to the internet banking problem I experienced while attempting to make payment of PAYE/UIF for our business
She established exactly what error I had received while attempting to make payment and put me on hold while she found out what "function unavailable" meant.
I did not mind being on hold since she returned with an answer to my inquiry.
She then suggested that I try and make the payment again while we were telephonically connected.
As I proceeded to do so she realized that I was not performing the Credit Push as required by SARS and she then patiently waited as I went onto the SARS site to select the payment option and then returned to the Absa site to authorise payment according to the new SARS procedure.
