Fauly ATM and cancelled card

I have on numerous occasions through the past year complained about a particular Standard Bank ATM in my area when I attempt to withdraw funds. It gives an error and then returns my card. I then use the FNB ATM (at a cost) without issues. I have complained about this multiple times and after not hearing anything back from Standard Bank on this issue for a while I attempted to use the same ATM again. This time the card was kept by the ATM. When I called to report this I needed to cancel my card and was told I could collect a new card in 5-7 working days. Problem now is that I am unable to log on to my Internet banking to pay accounts, or draw money until I have a new card. When I called to query this was told that there was nothing that could be done to expedite the new card but I could go into the branch to get a temporary card and then again to get my new card when that arrived. My Prestige banker, when I finally managed to speak to her was completely useless as all she can actually do is to refer me to someone else. Due to the fact that the bank has known about this issue for months I would have expected them to make a plan to deliver a new card to me and sort this out. useless!
