I have a hospital cash plan with Chartis AIG LIFE SOUTH AFRICA. I've had this policy for about two years now, and i've never missed a payment of R229 every month. on the 30th of November 2012 to the 3rd of December 2012 i was admitted to hospital. i got out and processed my claim, and was told the pay out would be in the next 7 to 14 working days. I havent seen a cent up until today, and ive been phoning them at least twice every week, since then, and those phone calls are not cheap. they say that my claim is being processed manually because their systems are offline and that they would call me back in a day or two. ive never recieved any calles from them explaining what the problem is and why there is a delay, and yet they are still debating R229 from my account. Im so frustrated and angry, because i took out a policy with this company because i trusted them and ive been loyal in my payments, BUT they are nothing but liars and that are people of their money. if i could i would tell the whole world how this company has wrong me, and im warning as many people as i possibly can about them.
