Can't link card!

I went into the bank to link my credit card to my wife's internet banking profile. I do not use internet banking myself. My wife does all the online banking. She has full power of attorney over all my accounts. Why must I create a separate profile just for my credit card??? I called the call centre this morning and they could not assist me. Please advise what the problem is? With todays technology I do not understand why it is not possible? Please contact us and link the card to her profile asap.
