I have applied for a bond with Std bank as i was told they the best bank when it comes to home loans. the bond was approved and sent to the attorneys for registration. on the 22 Oct i ask the attorneys if registration was completed and i was informed that Std bank placed a hold on the registration and my account was placed under debt review. I contacted the bank seeing that they did not informed me about the problem and i was informed to send a motivation letter regarding my debt review which was cancelled in 2011 as i settled all my creditors. i would like to know why was the debt review only picked up just before registration and not when my home loan application was processed right in the beginning due to a bank consultant that did not do the job correctly. they are delaying the registration process. please i need to get this sorted
