I cannot believe that FNB Branch in Volksrust are refusing to reverse the inside branch fee though their ATM's in the area were faulty (debiting the account but not giving cash). When I went to the branch, I was told in a very arrogant way to go to Spar because I am going to be charged the inside branch withdrawal fee and it won't be reversed, I must go to nearest Spar, I refused reason being I joined the queue at the atm, and inside the branch as well, now I was told to go to queue at Spar again, it was month end every place had a queue in the small town. I ended up withdrawing inside and I was charged R40.00 for withdrawing R440.00. I logged a complaint at the branch via their e-mail address, [Email Removed] to reverse the fee as it was not my intention to withdraw in the branch and I am having account with FNB not SPAR, I never received any response up to this day. Upon doing a follow with their call centre, they cannot trace my complaint/query though I gave them reference no. sent to via e-mail. To me this is a disgrace for a big company like this that cannot sort out complaints. Come on FNB you can do better that this, sort out you complaint resolution systems.
