Limit increase

I applied for a limit increase, knowing my credit score is very good and above average. I check my report every three months, sometimes more. There are nothing negative on my credit score at all!! According to my affordability I can comfortably afford an increase.
This is the response I received... "Kindly take note that your application for a limit increase has been denied. This decision is based on negative information received from ITC"
I have asked for a full explanation last week already, and still waiting!! I am very interested to know why you declined my request for a limit increase. There is no indication on my credit record that an enquiry was done by yourselves to check my record. The last enquiry by Absa Virgin Money was on 18 December 2012.
I would appreciate a full explanation (today) on what you refer to as "This decision is based on negative information received from ITC", as there is absolutely nothing wrong with my credit profile.
I will settle this account and close it. I will never refer any friends to take up an account with you!
