Is it a Loan an overdraft, NO its neither

I was contacted by DMC debt management on behalf of Nedbank for a loan that was effective 1st of March 2012. I contacted DMC and NEDBANK and requested relevant documentation (contract of loan, signature verification and branch initiated) to prove that I did take the loan and I was informed 3 days later that its not a loan but an overdraft. I informed DMC that I do not bank with NEDBANK and do not have an account with them so how is it possible for me to get an overdraft? The Nedbank staff at their collection branch were extremely rude and humiliated me as if I am at fault. I also requested a report to show if they have listed me for a loan/overdraft which I have not taken and did not get any feedback. I was also told to provide a copy of my ID and copy of my signature. If NEDBANK insists that they have granted me an overdraft surely they must have a copy of omy ID and my signature. So how else can a client open an account with any financial instituion if they do not provide a copy of their ID and sign the relevant documentation. How many other people have experienced this before and have not done anything to resolve it?
