I took a MiWay insurance policy on my car which I took a no excess policy about 10 months ago. Now it seems MiWay is doing bad or can't handle their finances so they have sent me a mail stating that they have just decided to increase my zero excess policy to a R3300.00 excess policy.
Their excuse is that its being abused my clients. My response is, "that's not my problem", I am not an abusing client and I was offered this policy and I believe it should hold.
It is not ethical for companies to just change their minds, yet the client is held to the policy with a vice grip.
