I wanted to close my account with Nedbank, and then I spoke to this friendly lady that convinced me to change from a savings account to a current account, to save on bank costs. The lady told me no need to worry about notifying creditors about my new bank account details for debit order purposes or notifying my Salary Department, Nedbank has this wonderful service where they do it for their Valued clients. I received the forms, filled it in and sent it back to the departments on the 3rd of October 2013. My HR was notified immediately that my salary must be paid in to my new account, so the forms were definitely received on your side. Today I decided to just double check with all the institutions, if the banking details has been changed, well guess what, not one has been informed and all still reflect the old account number. So tell me Nedbank, if I did not double check, what you have promised to do, all my debit orders would have bounced and I would have had to pay that fee?? I realy do not feel Valued today!
