MiWay bungles up!

I have a current policy with MiWay and decided to put additional cover. After making it clear to Mathilda that the policy inception date should be 25 NOVEMBER 2013, MiWay decided to unilaterally make 18 October, 2013 the inception date and proceeded to debit my account for a pro rata amount! Where do they get off treating clients like this? I called their call centre to try and sort this out, only to shunted from pillar to post. Please cancel all the additional insurance I requested and leave my current policy as is.
