I recently got an email from MiWay stating that with my policy renewal my premium was increased to a ludicrous amount. In light of this I have arranged insurance with a different company at almost 40% less than what MiWay made my premium. As such I called the call centre to cancel my policy. After taking my details the lady informed me that she needs to transfer me to her senior. I held the line for ten minutes after which the call was simply dropped from MiWay's end.
After this I requested a call back using their mobile site, but as yet I am still waiting for a call back. The other insurance company phoned me within minutes of requesting a call back, so why can't MiWay do the same?
In light of this, I am of the opinion that it is IMPOSSIBLE to cancel a MiWay policy once you've signed up apart from cancelling the debit order with the bank which is a tedious and ludicrous method of doing it.
