I have been a FNB Cheque account holder for about 10 years and now I was out of 34000.00 resulting from a Cheque. The cheque bounced this morning and when I logged into my account I saw that the cheque had been taken away and my account was in a staggering amount of minus 34 odd thousand. I promptly called FNB to tell them about the mistake and they corrected it quickly, but when I looked at my account statement a few minites later I was shocked to find that I WAS CHARGED R500.00 just to lift the cheque. Since I am not the party that deposited that cheque into my account I feel that this is unfair and the pricing is ridiculous for a 5 minute reversal.
