Inefficient claims process

My husband had a accident with his car today two weeks ago. The claim was submitted on the same day and we book and assessment for the Monday (7th). After the assessment someone from Auto & General phoned to get more details and told me that the assessment report will take 3 days to load. I was already surprised at this long time period. Having heard nothing back by the next Friday (11th), I phoned and was told they couldn't explain why it is taking so long. Dineo said that she would ask the consultant to phone me. He didn't. Monday (14th) they phoned to say that the report had been finalised and that they would contact me within 2 days to tell me where we could take the car for repairs. It is now FRIDAY and I've heard nothing from them. I'm changing insurers as soon as this claim has been finalised. I'd rather pay more each month and have a speedy process when claiming than sitting 2 weeks after an accident with the car not even close to being repaired yet.
