Lacklisted for a credit card that was paid

Closed my credit card in 2008 at Geduld branch in Springs... found out yesterday as I applied for finance that I have an ITC judgement on my name. Phone experian and they confirmed that it is an Absa judgement for that credit card, I am absolutely furious and will never bank or have anything to do with them again.
