This is how your bank steals from you by charging double bank charges.
Because I was dealing with exports to Lesotho, Swaziland and Namibia I opened an FNB account to make it easier to transfer funds.
I have been doing this for years and because my agents deposit cash I pay the cash deposit fee in SA.
All of a sudden last month my agent in Namibia had to pay a cash deposit fee even though she was depositing into my account.
The same rules do not apply in Lesotho or Swaziland
When the money reflects in my account I again pay a cash deposit fee
2 Bank Charges for the same deposit.
I have been banking with Nedbank for over 20 years and have never been ripped off like this. Had it not been for the convenience I never would have opened an FNB account
