Old Mutual did not take their September debit order and I called and emailed to notify them of this. I received telephonic and written confirmation that everything is up to date and the next debit order will be on the 26th of October 2013.
Late afternoon of Friday the 11th of October 2013 I received an MMS stating that the debit order will go off on the Monday the 14th of October 2013. This is a very underhand tactic as your call centre was closed so that I could notify them that there will not be enough money in the account and a double debit order should go off in October.

I called customer service on the 14th of October 2013 and I got no service, as my request was disregarded and Old Mutual went ahead and took money from my bank account against my wishes and without my authority.

Is this how a big and reputable company such as yours conduct business, disregarding your clients' requests and mess up their cashflow for the month.

I am appalled.
