I have enjoyed the benefit of using the Slow Lounge in South Africa as part of the RMB reward benefits for many years.
However, in my September 2013 RMB Statement, my account was charged with R1000.00 for SLOW Lounge fees without warning that my benefits were changed. If I had known this, would not have used the Slow Lounge.
RMB banks reply was that I was informed by email 5 June 2013 that the benefits have been changed and that this was clear in the web page of RMB. It is NOT clear.
My account statements in June and July allude that their are Pricing is refined - refer to view the pricing policy guide of phone. The Email heading was "RMB Private Bank Account Statement*Domillo Trust-2013-06-15". Hardly a warning that my account benefits were changed. Under the website the is a heading "rewardsre-defined" opening the heading are new rewards and benefits, existing benefits qualifiying etc. Since I already qualify and nothing had changed - I had no indication that I would be charged for a benefit I had been using for years.
I have just been informed by RMB I will not be reimbursed for R1000.00 for Slow Lounge use in Sept since I had been informed of a benefit change.
